SHŠ Krkavci invites you to a team longsword tournament in Czechia!
Teams of 3-4 members compete in the tournament. In the first phase, the members compete in groups, similarly to classic tournaments. Based on the group phase results, a team elimination bracket is arranged, where the whole teams compete in a relay format similar to the one used in sport fencing.

Registration: will be opened on 4th June at 14:00, in the meantime you can fill out a pre-registration survey, which would help us gauge the interest, and we will also be able to notify you about the launch of registration via the e-mail you will write there
Capacity: at least 16 teams of 3-4 members, with a possible increase up to 32 teams
Entry fee: no more than 4500 CZK or 180 € for the whole team (see details below)
Prizes: medals for the three best teams and sponsor gifts

Registration
The registration will be launched on 4th June at 14:00 (2pm). A team registers as a whole. For the registration you will need an e-mail which will be used for communication on behalf of the team, and a team name. It is now not necessary to list your team members, we will ask you for the line-up when needed. We remind you that a team must be composed of 3 or 4 fencers who do not have to be of the same gender, or from the same club - the team can be an arbitrary mix.
Capacity
The basic capacity of the tournament is 16 teams (regardless of their sizes) and the deciding factor is the order of registrations, but there will be several places reserved for holders of vouchers which we have donated to friendly tournaments as prizes - Bratislava Fecht 7, Czech longsword championship, and Black Horns Cup 2025.
⚠️ If at least 24 teams register, the capacity will be doubled to 32 teams. It therefore makes sense to register even if the basic capacity gets filled.
Entry fee
The entry fee is for the whole team regardless of its size, and will not be higher than 4500 CZK or 180 € (i.e. 1500 CZK or 60 € per person in 3-member team, and 1125 CZK or 45 € per person in 4-member team). We will start asking the registered teams for the entry fee in its definitive amount during July.
